We’re Working To Make Fond Du Lac Great!
Action Reporter Media has been a part of the Fond du Lac community for more than 150 years. We don’t just report on our community—we live, work, and raise our families here. Whether feeding the hungry or pitching in to clean up our neighborhoods, our people have a passion for giving back to the area we call home.
Annually, Action Reporter Media provides thousands of dollars in in-kind advertising and numerous hours of volunteer service in our community. Below are just a few of the programs in which we lead the effort.
Do It! Campaign: Annually Action Reporter Media hosts a Do It! Community Challenges in which we bring to light the needs to those in our community. This year’s campaign is Stock the Shelves.
Make A Difference Day: Sponsored by Gannett’s USA WEEKEND, the largest national day of helping others brings together millions the fourth Saturday of every October. With the help of hundreds of volunteers, Action Reporter Media helps winterize our neighbors’ homes and helped provide/sort books to area schools.
Gannett Foundation: Across the nation, the Gannett Foundation raises millions in grants and matching employee donations. In the Fond du Lac area alone, we’ve been able to support local efforts of the Free SPIRIT Riders, The ARC, Advocap and Solutions Center.
